The Bioreactors Synthecon are available in 4 versions
1 / Disposable Vessel Culture Systems :
The disposable vessel culture systems are low cost, easy to use, rotary bioreactor systems that utilize disposable culture vessels (10 or 50 ml) .
Each vessel can be used only once, though there are no limits on the duration of the experiment. Each culture vessel is gamma sterilized and individually packaged (heat sealed) for immediate use upon opening.
Available with 1, 2, 4 or 8 disposable vessels (10 or 50 ml).
2 / Autoclavable Vessel Culture Systems
The autoclavable vessel culture systems use culture vessels designed for repeated autoclaving, and ideal for long-term use (from 10 to 500 ml).
This system accepts any of the Synthecon culture vessels.
These batch systems are supplied with variable speed motor drives equipped with tachometer and autoclavable vessels of your choice
The RCCS-SC systems for stem cell culture are autoclavable vessel systems.
These systems are ideal for stem cell culture because they are small-volume culture systems that facilitate the use of higher concentrations of stem cells and stem cell growth factors in culture.
Each system includes 1, 2, or 4 small volume vessels of choice, depending on the number of stations on the rotator base. The culture vessels are autoclavable, and are available in 1 mL, 2 mL, 4 mL, and 10 mL sizes
4 / Perfusion Systems
The perfusion systems allow for continuous feeding of the cell culture chamber from an external media bottle. While the culture media continuously perfuses through the system, the 3d aggregates of cells and scaffolds are retained in the cell culture chamber by a porous perfusion core. The media also flows through an external silicone oxygenator via a peristaltic pump to maintain the oxygen level.
There are two perfusion systems:
> RCCMAX : The RCCMax system is a single vessel perfusion system. 3 sizes of vessels : 100, 125 and 150 ml
> RCCMAX DUAL : The RCCMax Dual system is a dual vessel system with two 50 mL vessels that perfuses media in series through both vessels. This key feature makes the RCCMax Dual ideal for experiments that require identical culture conditions for different cell types.
